Cancellation Policy

Thank you for supporting Barkway Village Hall (Charity number 272922), with all proceeds from ticket sales going towards the Village Hall and other local good causes. We’re excited to welcome you to our charity market and appreciate your contribution to our cause. 

 

Please note that the purchase of tickets for the Barkway Market, taking place on 11th May 2024, at Manor Farm, Barkway, is subject to the following terms and conditions regarding cancellations and refunds.

 

Non-refundable Tickets

 

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(h), tickets purchased for our charity market are non-refundable. This regulation specifies that the statutory right to cancel a distance or off-premises contract within 14 days does not apply to contracts for the supply of services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Our event falls under this exception due to its specific scheduling and nature as a leisure activity. 

 

Event Cancellation

 

In the unlikely event that the charity market is cancelled by the organisers, the ticket price will be donated to Barkway Village Hall. 

 

Personal Circumstances

 

We understand that personal circumstances may change. While we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations, we encourage ticket holders who can no longer attend to consider their purchase as a donation to Barkway Village Hall. Your support makes a significant difference.
